As a Patent Attorney I always get the 1st glimpse at inventors witty ideas. Sometimes it amazes me to see what these brilliant minds can come up with. Take for instance the battery operated light bulb. I had the pleasure of handling the patent application for an inventor with a similar idea. He lived in Florida which is a tropical area prone to hurricanes. Whenever a hurricane passed through they were without power for weeks. He thought that if he could make a light bulb operated by batteries at least they would have lights. After going all through the application process he found out another inventor had the same idea and patented it.

Several members of my family play the guitar. It seems to be an inherited trait that I missed out on. I understand about keys and frets. I understand about harmonizing and playing the melody. What I need is an easy guitar lesson that can teach me how to put my fingers together in the right way. I would like to be able to make a sound that does not sound like a cat wailing badly off key. I’m not necessarily looking to play anything very complicated, just something like Mary Had a Little Lamb would be nice to start with. I would like to find a way to put the knowledge I have to use.

I went online to look for a costume for Halloween and found not only the most awesome Elvira dress and wig but also a new source for the nicest plus lingere. Now I know what I’m wearing under my Christmas clothes to hide my aunt’s killer Christmas fudge and also know what I’m surprising my boyfriend with on Christmas Eve…a sexy Mrs. Claus outfit! I’ve always wanted one but they were never in my size. For New Years’ I found a really pretty white lace corset. Now I’m going to see what they have for Valentine’s Day, Easter, and St. Paddy’s!

Cindy was on her way to the store to buy a new coffee grinder. She was informed by the salesperson the other when she was about to purchase a melitta coffee grinder that the store would be having a sale today so she didn’t buy the product to save on some money. Now she was going to get her coffee maker and also look around the store to see if she could score any great bargains. Halloween was over and she might as well start with her Christmas shopping now while the malls weren’t still over crowded with frantic shoppers.

Since the first time we went to Redbean a few months ago, we have actually been back another 3 times for the crab! The second time we went, Redbean increased the price by 3 bucks a pound because they were now only serving female mud crabs. My wife didn’t mind one bit because he loves crab roe. The crabs averaged abt 2.5 pounds each in weight and were full of sweet, firm meat and an abundance of roe. At Victoria Street in Richmond, they were selling live female crabs at the Asian grocers for 32.99 bucks a kilo which was only slightly cheaper than what Redbean was charging! I’d happily pay the difference if it meant I didn’t have to kill the crab, cook it or clean up! On our way home, I also bought some coffee to brew on my new breville coffee Maker.
