The British followed the History of Rock and Roll since its origin in the 1950s. The British adopted much of the American culture since they both had a common language. Initially the British music industry tried to copy the American versions of rock and roll but later on several teen rock and roll bands emerged from the British as well. The first genuine rock and roll music produced by the British was in 1958 prior to which the rock and roll music was solely dominated by American bands. Rock and roll was the most favored music during the 1950s and it was majorly followed by the teens.
