The Hassles of Being a Call Center Agent

Being a contact center agent has its perks, but it also presents plenty of challenges.
The good part is that you are able to help people and address their problem or queries. The bad part is that if you are on the receiving end of an irate customer who wants a refund or his Internet connection back up pronto. Of course, you can only do so much.
I’ve worked as a tech support representative for a major Internet provider and trust me, for lack of a better description; all hell breaks loose when Internet outages happen. Our company has a T1 internet line so we personally don’t have that issue, but hearing how people constantly complain about their DSL line makes me want to recommend they get a T1 line too.
