Last night I was on my Facebook page trying to figure out how I knew somebody from the University of Munich. There was a Karl Schein who had put in a friend request on my Facebook page. As I never even been to Germany I figured this must be some sort of mistake. Considering my name is John Schmidt I’m often mistaken for someone else. I clicked on this ad to see what they were offering.

When we moved into our new community, it seemed that we were the only house in the development who didn’t have a front gate. Dad said that that would never do and that he could take care of the problem himself. I guess he talked to someone or went online to find out how to build a driveway gate. The next step was to order the materials and put in the work. I must admit, Dad did a pretty good job and now our driveway looks a lot like the others in the neighborhood. The only problem is that he put the gates on backwards so that they open out instead of in. Oh well, he tried.
