Sprint Triathlon Training for a Beginner

November 17th, 2009 by admin

It is never easy to take on a completely new sport but I would highly recommend that everyone does something new. For instance, I started a Sprint triathlon training program and I feel so much better on a daily basis. The small amounts of running, swimming and cycling that I do has me feeling healthy and energetic. It would be a great person for a beginner because it will keep them entertained with different activities and mix up their routine. It also helps because it works a bunch of different muscle groups and this will help a person lose weight and get in shape.

Are There MRE Meals for Vegetarians?

November 12th, 2009 by admin

I’m getting ready to join the military, and I’m really looking forward to it. Bettering myself, doing something good for my country, something to be proud in. The only real concern I have is that I’m a vegetarian and I didn’t know if I could get MRE Meals that I would be able to eat. So, I asked my recruiter about it and he put my mind at ease. Turns out, over the past several years, companies that make the meals have started to include more vegetarian meals for people like me. I can now go off to boot camp with my worries eased.

British fly fishing

October 25th, 2009 by admin

British fly fishing continued to develop in the 19th Century, with the emergence of fly fishing clubs, along with the appearance of several books on the subject of fly tying and fly fishing techniques. In southern England, dry-fly fishing acquired an elitist reputation as the only acceptable method of fishing the slower, clearer rivers of the south such as the River Test and the other chalk streams concentrated in Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset and Berkshire. The weeds found in these rivers tend to grow very close to the surface, and it was felt necessary to develop new techniques that would keep the fly and the line on the surface of the stream. These became the foundation of all later dry-fly developments.

My running skills and how they were put to use in a few flag football plays

October 18th, 2009 by admin

Last year I was accepted to the University of Colorado which kind of surprised me as my grades were what most people would consider just average. I have always been pretty good with computers so I decided to major in computer science. Halfway through my first semester one of the guys that lived in my dorm asked me to join his flag football team. I am not a very large kind of guy; however I’m very quick. I guess that’s why my friend later incorporated my running ability into some of the flag football plays. I turned out to be a pretty good player.

I smell a rat… or is is some sci-mx 100% whey?

October 16th, 2009 by admin

I am looking forward to getting in to bed tonight for a nice relaxing early night. I have been burning the candle at both ends and it is starting to show a little. My concentration level is down and I am finding it harder to eat a balanced diet and I am instead snacking on high fat foods. So an early night and plenty of protein is the order of the day. I have got some Sci-MX 100% Whey protein in and I will have a double serving when I get in. I think I will have it with some milk as well for a change just to make it a little more filling.

I Need Some New Boxing Equipment

October 14th, 2009 by admin

I am a boxing enthusiast and I have been searching online for boxing equipment to add to my collection.  My punching bag is currently on its last leg and I am looking to replace it.  My friend told me about zoout.com and I checked it out.  They have unbelievable prices on everything related to boxing.  I will be adding more than just a punching bag to my collection.  The deals are just too good to pass up and they even have great deals on shipping.  You can’t beat that one two punch.  It is enough to bring me back for more.

Why a basketball hoop necessary

October 12th, 2009 by admin

Basketball hoop is the prime accessory of the game. Players wanting to set up their court for the first time or just want to practice out their current game zone need to be fully equipped with basketball accessories. In any case, the basketball court accessories, including the hoop, make the game more intensely competitive, helps to improve their playing skills and make it more fun loving. The real game is initiated once the official lines of the basketball court are drawn. Once the court is set, players can choose their hoops, which are available in a variety of materials and colors.
