Improve a Computer’s Performance With a Windows Registry Checker

February 23rd, 2010 by admin

It seems as though the only way to keep a computer running efficiently is to do regular maintenance on the system’s registry.  While this can seem like a tedious task to many, it is often a necessary part of owning and using a computer.  By using a windows registry checker, however, the corrupted files and empty spaces within the registry can be easily detected and repaired during the boot-up process.  This can be quite beneficial for those who have little time to manually clean the registry themselves as the checker can work efficiently to keep things running smoothly.  Instead of solving the problem after it occurs, it is better to prevent the problems in the first place.

Vista Freezing Can Happen To Anyone, So You Are Not Alone

February 21st, 2010 by admin

Since I keep a lot of personal and work information on my laptop, I do everything I can to keep up with the necessary maintenance.  However, sometimes there are times where you can’t do anything and vista freezing is just a common thing.  There are different things you can, however I would just take it get a full diagnostic ran on it.  That way you know exactly what the problem and how to fix it.  that happened me and I was able to save a lot just by taking it to my husband to decide what needed to be done to it.

Customer Service with Hughes Net Internet is Awsome

February 16th, 2010 by admin

I am considering getting Hughes Net Internet for my home. A friend of mine has been using it for years and she absolutely loves it. My current provider seems to raise prices on a monthly basis and the service is horrible. When you call in with a problem, you have to deal with an automated machine that cuts you off after ten minutes. Apparently they have it set to do that or there is a glitch in their system. I’m not sure which it is because I have never actually gotten through to a real person. My friend says customer service with Hughes Net is outstanding. That’s enough to make me try it.

Cheap Web Hosting With Tons of Extras

February 15th, 2010 by admin

I love to crochet. In fact, I have an awesome little storefront on Etsy where I sell crocheted vampire dolls. It’s doing so well that a few weeks ago, I started working on my own independent website because I’m tired of the limitations of Etsy’s platform. However, funds are tight, so I really needed to research companies that offered cheap web hosting with a lot of extras. I’m so lucky that I found Blue Host. Not only will I be able to have my own domain name, I’ll be able to have a blog, message boards, a forum, and up to 2,500 e-mail addresses! Watch out, because my crocheted vampire dolls will be popping up in a store near you!

February 12th, 2010 by admin

There are a number of ways that unwanted software can get on your home computer.  Knowing  how to perform a firewall spyware removal will help to clean and protect the computer.  One of my students was explaining this to me yesterday.  He was telling me that he and his dad work at building and fixing computers on the side. He was telling me that a lot of what they do is not difficult to do.  Some people feel very uncomfortable when it comes to computers and prefer to leave the ongoing care and maintenance in the hands of a trained professional.

How Do I Select a Domain Name

February 12th, 2010 by admin

My business is unique but I guess that the name is not really unique because I can not even come remotely close to using it as my website name. Apparently if I wanted to reserve this name I should have done so at the invention of the Internet. I can not believe how hard just the first step is in working on my website for my business. I need help selecting an effective domain name that people can associate with my business and remember it when they hear it. How is anyone going to know how to look up my business on the Internet if the website doesn’t make the name?
