Big Changes in Big Industry

March 9th, 2010 by admin

Crop farming, as an industry, has made so many technological advances in the past one hundred years that it is barely recognizable, other than the fact that the end product is the same (or similar).  From the days of horse and plow, to tractors and sorting and packing machines, and even to growing indoors, the entire industry has changed.  One great technology that is making farming even better are greenhouse evaporative cooling systems.  These systems can self regulate the temperature and moisture levels of the greenhouse, allowing for successful indoor plant growing.  As a result, plants are now available out of season, and the entire nations food consumption habits have changed.
