Shoes the Major Factor for Bunions

February 20th, 2010 by admin

A condition in which is present in elderly is what we called the Bunions.  Because of this problem they hated the shape of their feet.  They could not fit them in their shoes and had trouble in getting around. And then they blame their parents when she was a child for forcing to wear shoes that are so tight. What happens in bunions is that there is an enlargement of the toes. While shoes are a major factor, a hereditary tendency to get them exists. They are more common in females as they do tend to wear tighter shoes. However, in Africa in some population that do not wear shoes, they do still get bunions, but nowhere near as much as in shoe wearing populations.
