When we moved into our new community, it seemed that we were the only house in the development who didn’t have a front gate. Dad said that that would never do and that he could take care of the problem himself. I guess he talked to someone or went online to find out how to build a driveway gate. The next step was to order the materials and put in the work. I must admit, Dad did a pretty good job and now our driveway looks a lot like the others in the neighborhood. The only problem is that he put the gates on backwards so that they open out instead of in. Oh well, he tried.
