A flower garden must consist of various types of plants and flowers, form and color for it to be considered vibrant and beautiful. There are three types of flower that have primary colors that you can grow base on status. These are the perennial, biennial and annual flowers.
Perennial flowers have the longest staying capability in terms of lifespan and adaptability to weather. In a year they only flower for a few weeks but this should not hinder you from choosing this kind because there are ways to keep them in full bloom for some season. Examples of this type are Hostas and Daylilies.
Biennial flowers lives for two years. They are best in withstanding different climate conditions like the perennials and they produce flower seeds in the garden before it dies. Basic examples are Sweet William and Foxgloves.
Annual flowers grow, blossom and produce seeds within a year. Some live in the wild but most have been nurtured by man. Examples are Petunias and Zinnias.
