It’s a Complex Thing

A friend of mine is studying the Charleston bankruptcy law for school. She is planning to attend law school and needs to study this for the entrance exams. She has been talking about it a lot lately. I am surprised there is so much involved in filing bankruptcy. I always assumed a person just stood in front of a judge saying they could no longer handle their bills. It turns out this is only after lawyers and judges have been through all of the filers personal finances. I can not imagine standing in front of someone trying to explain how I got so far into debt that I was not able to pay it.
