The Pina Colada is one of the popular alcoholic drinks reminiscent of the Caribbean. Its tropical setup and sweet flair have it claimed by Puerto Rico as its national drink.
Many recipes on making a Pina Colada are scattered throughout the world wide web, but the best taste of the cocktail can only be found on the tropical islands of the Caribbean. But if a trip to the Caribbean is out of the question and money is scarce, a home-made Pina Colada is easy enough to evoke a feeling of enjoying a drink in a high-end Barbados Hotel. Crushed ice, light rum, pineapple juice, and coconut cream are all you need for ingredients. Some, however, prefer fresh pineapple chunks for a more refreshing taste and some added vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Toss all in a powerful blender, serve with chicken wings, and you’re ready for a cocktail party.
