I love my job as a hotel manager here in Barbados. It gives me the perfect opportunity to meet and interact with all sorts of people. Today I got a call from a couple confirming their stay at our hotel for one of our Bahamas honeymoons. It was the usual call so I thought nothing of it. That changed just a few minutes later as I received a call again but this time just from the husband-to-be. He wanted to make sure that their honeymoon was something extra special. He wanted to know if he could make some special arrangements to surprise his partner when they got there. Of course we agreed to this. It’s always exciting to help guests make sure that they have a memorable stay at our hotel. He decided to go for it all the way starting off with a limousine service to pick them up from the airport. A red carpet entrance awaited his bride followed by a room filled with red roses and candles. Dinner was to be served in their balcony along with a bottle of champagne for later.
